The Alternative Grass Roots Campervan Festival
It’s with a very heavy heart that I have to announce the cancellation of Terrible Fest 2025.
This is not a decision I’ve taken lightly. A number of factors—none of which I’ll point fingers at—have unfortunately led to a point where going ahead simply isn’t viable. I’m absolutely gutted, and I know many of you will be too.
Terrible Fest was born from a vision: to create something fresh, welcoming and just a little bit different from the usual vanlife circuit. Something with heart, character, and a sense of play. I still believe in that idea—but for now, I have to press pause.
This isn’t about blame, and it’s certainly not a call for sympathy. I’m proud of what we tried to build, and I’m owning the cost of this decision—financially and emotionally. It hurts, but I’d rather do right by this community than push ahead with something that isn’t ready.
Thank you so much to everyone who showed interest, offered support, and believed in what we were creating. I hope this isn’t the end—just a rough chapter.
